On the evening of August 4th, 2020, a sequence of two explosions occurred at the port of the city of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. The extremely powerful second blast resulted in at least 157 deaths, 5,000 injuries, US$10–15 billion in property damage and an estimated 300,000 people made homeless. The blast was linked to about 2,750 tonnes (3,030 short tons) of ammonium nitrate—equivalent to around 1,155 tonnes of TNT (4,830 gigajoules). Read More.

The Liberia Chamber of Commerce (LCC) has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and continues to observe the Ministry of Health’s protocols.
Therefore, the Secretariat of the Liberia Chamber of Commerce has made the decision to temporarily change the office hours until further notice.
Our physical office will be opened twice a week, while staff will work remotely the remaining three (3) days.
We appreciate your support and understanding of this decision.
